TRIATHLON TRAINING:

Suzanne has encouraged, motivated and inspired me to do things I never felt that I could do – I mean really, I can complete a triathlon and better yet I want to do more of them and get better at them.  Doesn’t that speak volumes about her and her abilities when you take someone that has done nothing athletic for years and starts doing triathlons and at my age no less!?  It would be much easier for me to give up and say I can’t do this, I can’t run but thanks to Suzanne I believe somehow I can.  I think that motivating people is a gift and she has that gift.

Suzanne has motivated me to change my view of exercise and enjoy getting healthy.  She has inspired me to get out of the box and push myself to achieve goals I never thought possible.

Suzanne has coached me through my first (but not last) triathlon.  She has helped me achieve goals I did not know I could aim for.  The training she gave me provided me with the plan I needed to get ready for my first triathlon.  She is fun to work with, empowering and supportive.  I can feel her enthusiasm for what I have achieved and that is why I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great triathlon coach.

Suzanne is a very inspiring and motivating coach.  She is very down to earth and a perfect example of what can take place with the right amount of training and nutrition.  She goes above and beyond and you can sense the love she has for training.  I am very pleased to have the opportunity to have her as my coach and I look forward to continued improvement in my training and I know with Suzanne's help I will be a success.

I have been watching Suzanne train for different events for the past several years.  I never thought that I'd be running along side her in anything!  Being a mother of 3 young children and working full-time, I have always struggled to try to fit in time to exercise.  Last year, Suzanne suggested that my husband and I sign up for a sprint triathlon in our hometown of Carmel, Indiana.  She assured us that she and her husband would do the race with us.  Through her training and encouragement we were all able to finish the race!  We just completed the event for the 2nd year in a row and it felt great.  Although we missed having Suzanne running with us, I felt her presence there with me.  I could almost hear her in my head saying, "don't waste a downhill!".  As soon as I was finished, she was the first person that I called.  Her enthusiasm and encouragement is what kept me running towards the finish line.  She has now encouraged my children to register for the Indianapolis Kids Triathlon as well.  We are all looking forward to more events.

YOGA:

"Since starting "Yoga for Runners," I'm faster and looser and I have been able to train harder without injury. I would practice yoga just for the enjoyment of it but would definitely recommend it for runners who want to add a new dimension to their training program."
